- 25 CPE Hours on completion of training with necessary attendance
- 5 CPE Hours after appearing in the examination.

About this Course

Committee on Management Accounting (CMA) of ICAI is conducting PQC- Diploma on Management and Business Finance (DMBF) Course to impart the nitty-gritties of finance amongst the members of the Institute to enable the members to gain acumen, expertise and in-depth knowledge in the areas of Management and Business Finance.

DMBF Course curriculum is comprehensive and aligned to the requirements of senior as well as young members who aim at accelerating their career.

Unique mix of eminent faculties comprising of academicians from leading B-schools and senior professionals from Industry like credit rating agencies, investment bankers, private equity firms, portfolio managers and faculties from renowned Management Institutes.

Innovative practical application of theoretical inputs in the form of projects, assignments, presentations before technical panels, group discussions etc.

Rigorous testing procedures: Exams and projects designed in a manner to ensure high quality pass outs – which has been the hallmark of ICAI.



DMBF Course Structure :

-100 hours of class room training sessions through online mode (Sessions Timings: Online Classroom training sessions will be held on every Saturday & Sunday for about 4 months from 3pm to 7pm),

-Three weekends online program in association with Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), Mumbai – Mandatory to attend (3 days Residential Program in association with Jamalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), Mumbai at COE Hyderabad / Jaipur of ICAI – Optional to attend), and
-DMBF Examinations by Examination Department of ICAI.



Attendance :
A candidate has to mandatorily fulfil the Minimum Attendance criteria of
i. 75% of 100 Hours of Total Online Classroom Training sessions
ii. 100% of Three Weekends Online program
for appearing in the examination.

Three Weekends Online program in association with Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), Mumbai :
Committee on Management Accounting of ICAI has collaborated with Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), Mumbai to conduct the Three-Weekends Online program through online mode which is mandatory to attend for the members who have enrolled for PQC-DMBF course with the CMA of ICAI.

Further, 3 days Residential Program at COE Hyderabad / Jaipur of ICAI shall also be held in association with Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), Mumbai which is optional to attend for the participants.

Features of Three-Weekends Online Program -
• The Eminent faculties from JBIMS will take sessions.
• The Internal assessment would be done and marks out of 20 will be given based on project work submitted by the participants.
• 100% attendance of Three-Weekends Online Program and scoring a minimum of 50% marks in Internal assessment in each subject is mandatory.

DMBF Examinations :
-The Examinations may be conducted by the Examination department of ICAI twice a year i.e. both in May and November every year, in such manner and at such time and places, as the Examination Committee may decide from time to time.

Exam Pattern:
a. Examination department will take the online examinations of two hours each subject for 80 marks multiple-choice questions with negative marking of 0.25 marks

b. For remaining 20 marks, internal assessment would be done by Committee on Management Accounting for the various project works / presentations during the Three-Weekends Online Program w.r.t. each subject.

Passing Criteria:
-A candidate will be declared pass in a group if he/she secures 40% marks in each subject of the group and 50 % in project work/internal assessment with respect to each subject and a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of that group at one sitting.

-A candidate will be declared pass in PQC-DMBF Course if he/she passes all three groups of PQC-DMBF.
