About this Course
The Committee is conducting PQC- Diploma on Management & Business Finance Course (DMBF) Course to impart the nitty-gritties of finance amongst the members of the Institute to enable the members to gain acumen, expertise and in-depth knowledge in the areas of Management and Business Finance. The DMBF Course curriculum is comprehensive and aligned to the requirements of senior as well as young members who aim at accelerating their career. Unique mix of eminent faculty comprising of academicians from leading B-schools and senior professionals from industry like credit rating agencies, investment bankers, private equity firms, portfolio managers and faculties from renowned management institutes. Innovative practical application of theoretical inputs in the form of projects, assignments, presentations before technical panels, group discussions etc. Healthy mix of students to enhance knowledge sharing and creating positive synergies. Rigorous testing procedures: Exams and projects designed in a manner to ensure high quality pass outs –which has been the hallmark of ICAI.
Dissemination of Course comprises of :
- -80 hours of class room training sessions through online mode
- -80 hours of sessions shall be done through e-learning modules
- -Three weekends online program in association with JBIMS, and
- -Examination by Examination Department of ICAI.
The Committee on Management Accounting of ICAI has collaborated with Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), Mumbai to conduct the Three Weekends Online program for the members who have enrolled for PQC-DMBF course with the CMA of ICAI. JBIMS faculties will take sessions in an interactive case study method. The session will be followed by Quiz/ Assignment to be done individually & to be uploaded as directed by JBIMS with a deadline. The submissions will be evaluated by the faculties and marks out of 20 will be given. Faculties will explain and discuss the concepts in the case study, class participation will be observed. List of marks awarded to the members will be shared with the Examination Department by the Committee for the purpose of declaration of results. The Examinations may be conducted by the Examination department of ICAI twice a year i.e. both in May and November every year, in such manner and at such time and places, as the Examination Committee may decide from time to time. A candidate will be declared pass in a group if he secures 40% marks in each subject of the group and 50 % in project work/internal assessment with respect to each subject and a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of that group at one sitting. A candidate will be declared pass in PQC-DMBF Course if he passes all three groups of PQC-DMBF.
